Vaccines are Safe Folks, Just ask These Pro-vaxers!

But it still might be a good idea to hold off on the gardasil, y’know… Just in case… 😉

For the record Melissa, PQ feels the SAME way. Perhaps we can all get together for a cuppa sometime. No? LOL

PQ Happens to Agree With Pro-vaxer Alice on This One...

Vaccines do NOT ensure good health. But it’s always refreshing to hear it from the vaccinophiles themselves. 😉

We happen to fully agree with “Mr. H” on this one! 😉

Roast of a Skeptic.

PQ hopes you will enjoy this highly amusing roast of a science based skeptic as much as we did! 😉

PQ having a little fun. ;)

Speaking of Quacks…

Image  It is without further adieu that I present pseudo-skeptic extraordinaire, David Gorski aka Orac the nipple ripper.

Gorski is known best for his exceptional talent for cherry picking information that conforms to his particularly biased, preexisting set of beliefs.

The particular brand of pseudo-skepticism Gorski and his followers adhere to is one that actually inhibits the progress of scientific research, zealously discouraging any and all from questioning existing science!

Psychiatrist Richard Kluft made this observation about the current trend of pseudo-skepticism:

“.. today genuine skepticism of the benign sort that looks evenly in all directions and encourages the advancement of knowledge seems vanishingly rare. Instead, we find a prevalence of pseudo-skepticism consisting of harsh and invidious skepticism toward one’s opponents’ points of view and observations, and egregious self-congratulatory confirmatory bias toward one’s own stances and findings misrepresented as the earnest and dispassionate pursuit of clinical, scholarly, and scientific truth.”

Well! One needs only to briefly glance at Gorski’s exhaustive number of rants directed toward anyone questioning the sacred practice of vaccination to see the true embodiment of “invidious skepticism toward one’s opponents’ points of view and observations, and egregious self-congratulatory confirmatory bias toward one’s own stances.”

Sadly, his modest number of devotees are equally as obnoxious.

This comment was left by a pro-vaxer and was directed at the pro-vax page owner of “Informed Parents of Vaccinated Children” on Facebook. She disapproved of many of the rude, belittling comments being directed toward those questioning the safety of vaccines. She bravely spoke up and was promptly removed from the group.Image

Well-known Vaccine Critic Receives Death Threats

Stalking, harrassment, and credible threats of violence. These are just some of the challenges one must face when one decides to question the wisdom behind intentional, repeated exposure to known neurotoxins and carcinogens.

Since this page is devoted to exposing all forms of quackery that encompass the provax religion, I thought it might be fun to feature the original, true quack credited with founding the practice of vaccination! (Though this too is a false misconception. Vaccination or variolation was around long before Jenner adopted the practice.)

Fun facts:

-Jenners experiments were largely based upon superstition and anecdotal evidence.

-Jenner was notorious for performing highly unethical and dangerous experiments on young children including his own son.

-Jenner experimented on his son for many years afterwards, subjecting him to various innoculations. Jenner then performed challenge tests, deliberately exposing his son to deadly diseases.

-In the years following these experiments, Jenners son “became a sickly child and exhibited signs of mild mental retardation.” Sadly his son died at the young age of 21 from tuberculosis.

-Jenner refused to vaccinate his second child.

**Note** PQ encourages its readers to investigate vaccines and their history for themselves. These are easily verified facts folks!

In 1500, Paracelsus coined the phrase we know today as “the dose makes the poison.”

Vaccine zealots fervently chant the adage when confronted about the toxic ingredients contained in vaccines. The problem is, many pollutants, drugs and natural substances don’t always adhere to this logic.

Pete Myers, Ph.D explains why this thinking is not only antiquated but explains how low dose exposures to a substance can actually be *more* harmful.
