Exclusive! The Photo They DO NOT Want You to See!

This is an example of the desperate lengths pro-vaxers have gone to in order to squelch the voices of people who have done nothing wrong, but have simply questioned the benefits of vaccination. Within minutes of posting this photo on Facebook, the pro-vaxers rallied and immediately had it taken down. It isn’t hard to see why they’d wanted to conceal it. The bully coercion tactics they used here are plainly evident.

The Patriot Nurse caused quite a stir when she boldly aired a youtube video in which she spoke out about the numerous risks associated with vaccines and vaccine ingredients.

This nurse was immediately attacked for her views by a vicious group of provaxers. The group went to great lengths not only to reveal her true identity, but even went so far as to contact her employer in an attempt to silence her by going after her job.

This group has demonstrated that it will stop at very little to accomplish its purposes, even if it means tracking down a nurse and threatening her employer. All done simply because this nurse bravely decided to encourage parents to make informed decisions and weigh out the risks and benefits of vaccination.

(**Note: In a hilarious twist of hypocrisy, Pro-vaxers belonging to the very same group in this post, are now trying to cry foul, alleging that vaccine critics have attempted to contact their family members and work contacts. Oddly enough, they have yet to substantiate these claims with even a hint of evidence! To date, they have produced none, nada. Anyone smell a desperate attempt to cover their butts?

  1. Scott Hansen says:

The Patriot Nurse, what.. a … fucking… hero.

The person that wrote the above did so in order to out this nurse as she is a clear danger to the patients that she looks after, she is a danger to the immunocompromised and the very young.

The public had every right to know who this nurse really was and where she worked, so that they did not endanger their newborns via her not vaccinating, and possibly passing on dangerous diseases such as pertussis.

Keep on crying and playing the victim card, it does you no favours.

  2. Autismum says:

not very exclusive when this has been on my blog since January and discussed at length on others (Respectful Insolence and Shot of Prevention to name but two).
Also, you already have been informed you are breaching copyright by posting this content in this form and not any of the published versions correctly attributed. Do try harder to stay current and within the law.
    Love and kisses, Autismum

  3. Ben Wiseman says:

Wasn’t it that Age of Autism wingnut (Jake Crosby?) that the anti-medicine crowd were praising for trying to ‘go after’ Paul Offit’s job via a flaccid email to his employer?

And lol, Autismum just wiped the floor with you.

  4. provaxquacks says:

I admire anyone who has the courage and integrity to stand up against something she has reason to think is wrong. The person who wrote that letter did so in order to try to get the nurse fired from her job. I remember either last year or the year before last something about Gorski’s hospital getting called in an attempt to get him fired. The exact same thing happened to Rene Najera if I’m not mistaken. MmmBop, Scott.

Martine…you should familiarize yourself with something called Internet Fair Use. It essentially says that someone can post a review of an original work for the purpose of criticism. No where in our criticism of your blathering do we attempt to claim that your work is ours. Why would we want to claim that we wrote a letter trying to get a nurse fired because she expressed her opinion? We have far more integrity than the person who wrote that letter, I assure you

Ben believes that if a few vaccine critics praise someone for doing something bad, then all vaccine critics are guilty of it. Ben, of course, again misses the point that someone contacting your place of business in an attempt to get them fired or reprimanded is bad…unless you’re a vaccine enthusiast. Such hypocrisy is ok then. Oh, yeah. Martine *really* “wiped the floor with us.” Especially considering that she has no clue about internet fair use.

    • Autismum says:

I’m more than familiar with internet fair usage. This is version of work in a form not intended for publication. It is available in a published and copyrighted form so you are, in fact, breaching copyright. Oh, and the letter was sent to do what none of you lot do when going after people and that is to ascertain if speculation has any basis in reality. Not familiar with reality though are you? Silly sausages.

      • provaxquacks says:

        Silly twit.

Speaking of not being familiar with reality! The intent of your letter is quite clear; you were attempting to get the patriot nurse fired or reprimanded. You were also trying to “out” her to her place of business and people in general.

Now, as to internet fair usage, let’s look at what the law says, shall we?

“The fair use of a copyrighted work, including such use by reproduction in copies or phonorecords or by any other means specified by that section, for purposes such as *criticism*, *comment*, *news reporting*, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research, is not an infringement of copyright. In determining whether the use made of a work in any particular case is a fair use the factors to be considered shall include:

the purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes; (no commercial use involved; we made no profit from it)

the nature of the copyrighted work; (it’s a letter posted on Facebook with the names of those involved blacked out)

the amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole; and (again, the relevant parties are blacked out. Not only that, but you republished it on your site. We only used the letter.)

the effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work. (This in no way affects your market as it is a screenshot of a letter you posted on Facebook)

The fact that a work is unpublished shall not itself bar a finding of fair use if such finding is made upon consideration of all the above factors.”

We did not try to claim that your work was ours.

Folsom v Marsh, 9 F.Cas. 342 was an interesting case that is still a standard of copyright law. Here’s what the case ruled:

“A reviewer may fairly cite largely from the original work, if his design be really and truly to use the passages for the purposes of fair and reasonable criticism. On the other hand, it is as clear, that if he thus cites the most important parts of the work, with a view, not to criticize, but to supersede the use of the original work, and substitute the review for it, such a use will be deemed in law a piracy…”

Again… we did not try to supersede the use of the original work, nor did we substitute our review for it. If it wasn’t intended for publication, why did you post in on Facebook, then post it on your site? Silly little dimwit…

So, simply put, if you’re going to accuse us of “stealing” your work (or breaking copyright), then by using your definition of fair use, you must also accuse everyone at the AVWOS of the same since they do what we’ve done; snapshots of comments to criticize and make fun of them.

        • Autismum says:

Actually you’ll find that it was posted in a private forum for feedback and editing purposes and never intended for publication in that form. Where published work exists, it is that which should be used and correct attributions made.
As for the letter’s intent I think you are very much behind the times on this topic and clearly don’t recall that this person’s identity was being bandied around with very little evidence to back it up. You think that’s fair?
As for wanting to draw her employers attention to her actions then yes but again, I was not the first to do so.
BTW loving the retro vibe of this site, with all the old stories.

          • provaxquacks says:

So you admit that you were trying to get her reprimanded and/or fired from her job. Fabulous! The first step to recovery is admitting that you have a problem; I’m very proud of you.

If you look on the picture, it clearly states where the screenshot was taken from.

The very fact that you and yours are so desperate to get this content removed shows that it is important, at least to you. And if you are so eager to have this content removed, then I absolutely must make sure as many people see it as possible.

  5. Shanta Ram says:

Just want to say you guys are doing an awesome job showing the mirror to the cyber/real life bullies who will go to any length to prevent the truth from coming out. Who is pretending to be a patriot? Those shaming/outing others for exercising free speech and speaking the truth. GTFO.
